COLORADO FALL SESSION WARDROBE GUIDE

QUICK TIPS!

Color Choices: Fall's warm tones are ideal for photos. Neutrals like tan, cream, and gray create a perfect base, while jewel tones like deep reds, plums, mustard yellows, and emerald greens add vibrant pops against the fall foliage. Avoid all pure black or white, as they can either absorb too much light or reflect it awkwardly.

Layering and Textures: Fall is perfect for layering! Incorporate cozy sweaters, scarves, and hats to add depth. Fabrics like flannels, chunky knits, and corduroys give a rich, autumnal feel. Plaids and florals are a popular choice and pairs well with solid pieces.

Coordinate, Don’t Match: Aim for coordination rather than identical outfits. Start with one person's outfit and build complementary looks for the family. For instance, if one person wears a neutral, another can wear a contrasting jewel tone to add balance.
