Senior sessions are a great way to celebrate and memorialize an amazing milestone. It’s no surprise that typically male seniors aren’t always thrilled to have their picture taken, but most will do anything to make their moms happy, and I am whole heatedly willing to take advantage of that! Connor did a killer job at his session and didn’t complain once when I asked him to step out of his comfort zone. I might even venture to say that he slightly enjoyed himself! We used some great locations to show off his personality and style. After all, it is the time of the mullet, and that deserves to be documented justly wouldn’t you say? And what goes better with a mullet than vintage cars, rusty metal, chopped wood and the american flag!?

After getting to know Connor, it is apparent that he is a hard working, patriotic young man. I wanted his images to reflect that through his wardrobe, and through incorporating various rustic elements. Personally, I think we nailed it. He did an awesome job choosing a variety of shirts that all feel a little different, but are still so totally him. Also, shout out to grandma for saving the day and bringing a special hat at the last minute! I know how special Connors images will be wearing his late grandfathers cowboy hat.

Connor also let me know he is looking into going a firefighter academy after graduation, so I knew we had to incorporate this old water truck! Not something I would normally use, but I mean, if it’s the right time, it’s the right time you know?
