Emma’s Senior Session in Rush, Colorado

Emma is a 2025 Miami-Yoder graduate, and let me tell you—her session was nothing short of magical! She and her family live in Rush, Colorado, where she pours her heart into music, FFA, and the rural lifestyle she loves. Her talent is truly endless, and I was honored to capture this special season of her life.

We chose a gorgeous location east of Colorado Springs, shooting along a peaceful creek bed near her home. What made this session even more special was how personal it was—Emma brought along some of her greatest loves, including her fiddle, dog, and horses. These personal touches made her high school senior portraits feel uniquely “her,” telling the story of her passion, dedication, and love for the country lifestyle.

Emma has this beautiful old soul with a young, vibrant spirit, and it shined through in every image. Whether she was playing her fiddle under the golden sky or sharing a sweet moment with her horse, she was absolutely radiant. It’s senior sessions like this that remind me why I love being a Colorado senior photographer—capturing the heart and soul of each senior in a way that feels authentic and timeless.

We ended the evening with some watching the sun go down and created some outdoor senior pictures that truly captured the breathtaking beauty of rural Colorado—wide open spaces, warm golden light, and a senior who is ready to take on the world.

Emma, thank you for allowing me to be part of your senior year! Wishing you all the best as you step into your future—I know big things are ahead for you.
