When it comes to family sessions, the more the merrier, I say!

This gorgeous session was taken on a creek bottom near this families home in Eastern Colorado. The sun was gorgeous shining through the last of the yellow autumn leaves. Their colors were perfect and coordinated beautifully.

I know parents sometimes are overwhelmed with getting children ready for sessions, and then also worry about their children’s cooperation during the session. I cannot count how many times I have said this in my career, but I do not expect your children to be little statues and stay within some tight boundary. I WANT them to feel relaxed and playful, and I have absolutely no issues guiding young kids and their behavior during a session. When they’re having fun, I find they are more likely to pause and follow direction than if they have just been scolded. So just relax and let me take the reigns!
