It all started when I became a mother...

I wanted to document everything. This amazing little human had bounced into my life, and I didn't want to forget one little thing about him. His tiny little hands, wrinkle nosed smile, chubby cheeks... I wanted to remember the way he looked wearing his daddy's hat and how he felt curled up in my arms. I wanted to remember that, eventually,  when more babies came, our love grew ten fold. I wanted to remember all of the imperfect perfection.

As most mothers can relate, life isn’t defined by picture perfect moments.  Life is defined by beautiful, authentic, "you drive me crazy, but I love you to death" moments. Moments of pure joy, moments of heartbreak, and all of those in between. 

And we do forget.

Time passes, children grow and families change. We get busy, and before we know it, that chubby cheeked little boy is turning 14.

As a photographer, I strive to provide my clients with beautifully lit,  emotive images, which capture the everyday feelings that come with being together. I intend to preserve all those wonderful, little details that fade with time. I want to document your happiness, excitement, giggles and tears...Mommy snuggles and daddy tickles, a secret between siblings, or the perfect little face of your newborn baby. I want my clients to have images that are not cluttered with props, themes and busy scenes. I want you and your relationships to be the center of your images every time.

It is more than just creating a photograph. Building meaningful relationships with my clients is important to me. For this reason, I only accept a limited number of sessions, allowing me to give each of you the time and attention you deserve. Before your session, we will communicate extensively about you and your family, styling your wardrobe, location and photographic products, until we are both assured that your session and experience will be fantastic! My sessions are always fun and stress free. Once you arrive on location, you can relax! I know preparing for your session can get crazy, and I will take it from here! After the session, we will meet one more time for your proofing and purchasing appointment. This is often the best part of the experience, as you get to see your images for the first time, choose your favorites, and walk away knowing that your beautiful portraits will be delivered to your doorstep. There is no guess work involved, I am there to help you every step of the way!

Photographs are meant to be printed, shared and passed down. So often, they get stored on a CD or flash drive, only to stay tucked away in a desk drawer. This is why I offer only the highest quality prints and products, which are intended to display and preserve your images for generations to come.
