Eberle Family Session in Limon Colorado

The Eberle family, from Arriba, Colorado, picked the perfect time of year for their family portrait session. Eastern Colorado was still showing off its late summer charm with fields of sunflowers scattered across the landscape. As a Limon Photographer, I’m so grateful for the incredible locations we have right at our fingertips—this session was a perfect example of how stunning and unique our area is.

From the very start, the Eberle kids were all smiles and willing participants. One of my favorite parts of the session was photographing on Big Sandy Creek. True to its name, the creek was dry and sandy, creating a unique backdrop with a beachy vibe that I absolutely loved. It’s amazing how even a dry creek bed can feel so full of life in photos! The combination of sunflowers, sandy textures, and the golden glow of the Eastern Colorado sun made for a dreamy setting.
