Celebrating Kylie | A Stunning Rural Senior Photography Session in Colorado
Senior year is such an exciting time—one filled with big milestones, lasting memories, and, my favorite, the perfect opportunity to capture this time with senior portraits! Kylie, a soon-to-be graduate of Miami-Yoder High School near Rush, Colorado, brought her energy, confidence, and personality to her senior session, making it an unforgettable experience.
A Senior Session as Unique as Kylie
Kylie is an all-around athlete, balancing volleyball, basketball, and track while also making history by playing on the boys' baseball team! Beyond sports, she’s an active member of FFA, a role that speaks to her hardworking and passionate spirit. Her session needed to reflect everything that makes her who she is—strong, driven, and completely herself.
We started Kylie’s session on my property in Matheson, Colorado, where my flower gardens provided a stunning and colorful backdrop. The blooms added a soft, natural touch to her portraits, perfectly complementing her outfits, which she selected using my Senior Welcome Guide. Choosing the right outfits can make a huge difference, and Kylie absolutely nailed it!
For the second half of her session, we headed to her family’s property in Rush, Colorado. The creek bed was breathtaking, adding a rustic, timeless feel to her images. Other than a few persistent mosquitos (a small price to pay for golden-hour perfection), we had a gorgeous evening to capture outdoor senior pictures in Colorado’s beautiful rural landscape.
