Twin Senior Session | Samara & Gianna | Limon, Colorado
Some sessions are just plain fun, and Samara and Gianna’s senior portraits definitely fall into that category. These two are twins, which already makes their session extra special, but on top of that, they’re full of energy, talent, and the kind of bond you can’t help but smile at while photographing.
We kicked things off around some of my favorite spots in Limon, Colorado. The fields were glowing, the light was soft, and the girls made everything easy with their laughter and natural connection. We wandered through a few rural areas and then made our way down to the creek, which gave us such a pretty mix of natural backdrops. I always love how outdoor senior pictures in Colorado can feel both relaxed and timeless—exactly what we captured with Samara and Gianna.
Of course, we had to highlight their love of sports too. These two have stayed busy throughout high school with volleyball, track, cheer, and basketball, so it only made sense to incorporate those pieces of their story into their session. From strong volleyball shots to fun, spirited cheer and basketball moments, we got a little bit of everything. It’s always my goal with high school senior portraits in Colorado to make sure the images reflect who seniors really are at this stage of life—and these girls’ dedication to athletics is a huge part of that.
One of the best things about photographing twins is seeing their relationship shine. We made sure to take plenty of individual photos that highlight their unique personalities, but the shots of them together might be my favorites. The way they laugh and play off each other is something I know their family will treasure forever.
Next up for these two? They’re heading to Hastings College to play volleyball! I’m so excited to see where that takes them. With their drive, talent, and support for one another, I have no doubt they’ll do amazing things.
