What Do You Do with All Those Images on Your Phone?!
Having a phone makes capturing your personal memories so, so easy. The downside to that however, is that as a society, the convenience of constantly capturing has devalued the importance of photographs.
How many of you have thousands of images and videos on your phone at this very moment, but don’t have them anywhere else? I’m sure, just like me, you would be devastated if something happened to those memories. Yet, we often don’t do anything to prevent that very thing from happening. Occasionally we may back them up to the cloud or a file on our computer, but honestly, what good does that do us? How can we, or our children, or our children’s children enjoy those images when they are locked away in some forsaken “cloud” or random drive on our computer?
It’s time to get with the program folks! And keep in mind, while I’m delivering this lecture to you, I am simultaneously lecturing myself! I am HORRIBLE about doing something, ANYTHING, with my phone images.
So what DO you Do?
Well, I’ve started researching some options, and today I am throwing them out to you. If you use or try any of these things, I would love to know how you like them!
# 1 CLEAN YOUR PHONE
If your phone looks anything like mine, there are at least 1000 images looking up my daughters nose as she takes pictures of herself. Now, while those make me giggle, I don’t need 1000 of them. Most people find this to be true of many images on their phones. They don’t just take one image, but instead ten images that look roughly the same. It is totally worth it to invest in an app to help you quickly go through images that are almost identical or blurry and weed them down to your ONE favorite. Most cleaning APPS will also find all those pesky screenshots that you haven’t looked at in months and really have no need for. Now you have the BEST photos AND more storage on you phone….WIN.WIN.

#2 DECIDE ON A TANGIBLE ITEM
There are so many options for getting photos off of your phone and onto a physical product that can actually be enjoyed by you and your family. Here are some of my favorite options for EASY, CONVENIENT phone photo printing:
#1 CHATBOOKS
Chatbooks is the king of convenience, and with several options for mindlessly printing your images, it is a no brainer! You have a choice of personally creating and customizing your chatbook albums OR my personal favorite, setting up an automatic subscription.
You can sign up for their monthly mini subscription OR if you want to make things super easy, join their Instagram or Facebook series subscription. These subscriptions pull photos from your social media and once there are 60 images, prints them into an album automatically after giving you the option to preview. And obviously, if you posted it to social media, it’s an image you love or a story you want to remember. What more could you ask for!
#2 Social Print Studio
Social Print Studio offers many cute products beyond just albums. My personal favorite are these little mini-prints and photo strips that are perfectly nostalgic.
Their site also offers the incredibly convenient option of uploading images directly from your Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, Google Drive and Google Photos accounts.
Looking for something super affordable? Then this is the option for you…
Free Prints is an app that, well, offers FREE Prints. Here is what you can get:
Up to 85 4x6 prints per month
Limit 1 free print per photo
Maximum of 1,000 4x6 prints per year
You do have to pay for shipping, but it’s very affordable.
How can they offer this? I have no idea, but I would jump on it while you can! I also saw an announcement that they were now offering a free, 5x7, 20 page book every month….again, all you pay is delivery!
